– Digital alarm clock
• Keep the unit out of reach of persons (including children) who cannot fully appreciate
the potential risks of handling electrical equipment.
• Pull the plug out of the socket immediately if any fault occurs or if the unit is not used for
a lengthy period.
• Only use the supplied mains adapter.
• Do not pull the plug out of the socket by its lead.
• Route the mains lead so that it does not come into contact with sharp-edged or hot
objects.
Caution!
Risk of injury:
• Keep the battery out of reach of children.
• Batteries must not be thrown into the fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk
of explosion!
• Batteries can be fatal if swallowed. If a battery has been swallowed, get medical assis-
tance immediately.
• Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to
prevent damage caused by a leaking battery.
• Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and glasses when handling leaked batteries.
Important information on product safety!
• Do not place the unit near extreme temperatures, vibration or shockshock.
• Do not place any objects on the instrument.

6. Getting started
• Open the battery compartment (13) and remove the insulation strip.
• Insert the adapter into the jack (11). Connect the power adapter to a wall socket. Important!
Make sure that your household voltage is 230V! Otherwise your clock may be damaged.
• 12:00 and PM appear on the display.
6.1 12/24 hours indication
• In normal mode, press DOWN button (9) to select 12 (PM appears on the display after
12 h) or 24 hour mode.

6.2 Setting of the clock and date
• Move the FUNCTION switch (4) to 'T.SET' (TIME SET), hour part is blinking; press UP button
(8) or DOWN button (9) to set the hour. (Be careful to set AM or PM correctly. When the
PM time is set under 12-hour mode, a PM indicator (1) is lightened.)
• Press MODE button (7), minute part is blinking, press UP button (8) or DOWN button (9)
to set the minute.
• Press MODE button (7), only second part is blinking, press UP button (8) or DOWN button
(9) to return to '00' second. This step is to ensure setting the clock accurately.
• Press MODE button (7), the display of 4 numbers is blinking, it stands for year (the initial
year is 2006); press UP button (8) or DOWN button (9) to set the year (from 2000-2099).
• Press MODE button (7), month part is blinking, press UP button (8) or DOWN button (9) to
set the month.
• Press MODE button (7), day part is blinking, press UP button (8) or DOWN button (9) to
set the date.
• Move the FUNCTION switch (4) to 'NORMAL', the time and calendar settings are finished.
6.3 Setting of the alarm time
• Move the FUNCTION switch (4) to AL.SET (ALARM SET), hour part is blinking, press UP
button (8) or DOWN button (9) to set the alarm hour.
• Press MODE button (7), minute part is blinking; press UP button (8) or DOWN button (9)
to set the alarm minute.
• Press MODE button (7) again, the snooze interval minute part is blinking; here you can
set snooze interval from 1 minute to 60 minutes by pressing UP button (8) or DOWN but-
ton (9). You can ignore this step, the default snooze interval is 5 minutes.
• Move the FUNCTION switch (3) to 'NORMAL'. The snooze alarm setting is finished.
6.4 Activate/turn off Alarm ON/OFF
• Move the ALARM ON/OFF switch (5) to AL.ON (ALARM ON), the Alarm indicator (2)
appears. That means the snooze alarm function is activated. When the set alarm time is
up, the alarm sound starts.
a) Press SNOOZE button (3), the clock will stop alarm temporarily; the alarm sound will
start again after the snooze interval ends. After doing so four times repeatedly, the
snooze alarm function will stop working.
b) If there is no man-made stop, the clock will alarm lasting 1 minute every snooze inter-
val, four times totally. After that, the snooze alarm function stops working.
c) Move the ALARM ON/OFF switch (5) to 'AL.OFF' (ALARM OFF), the snooze alarm func-
tion will stop working permanently.
6.5 Reading of the alarm time, date and the snooze interval
• Under normal state, press SNOOZE button (3) first time, you can see the set alarm time;
press SNOOZE button (3) again within 3 seconds, you can see the set snooze interval and
date; press SNOOZE button (3) again (or leave it for 3 seconds), the clock will return to
the normal working state.
