9 SERVICE & REPAIRS
9.1 Dripping colorant
Nozzle Seal Pad
After each dispense, a very small amount of colorant will remain in the nozzle. Between valve
operations, this colorant may settle down onto the nozzle seal tip. Over time, this constant
repetitive action could lead to a build up of colorant that could eventually drip to the ground. Daily
cleaning of this area will prevent the colorant accumulation / drips. Wipe area with a moist cloth.

Nozzle Replacement and Cleaning
The Valve Nozzle (Ref. # 5) is located at the bottom of the valve, and directs the colorant in a
steady stream into the paint can. A sealing o-ring is used to prevent leakage between the two
surfaces. Colorant collecting around the area of the nozzle may be the result of a damaged or
missing o-ring.
To ensure trouble-free operation, it is recommended that the nozzle outlets (Ref. # 5) be cleaned
regularly. Care should be taken when removing and cleaning Nozzle not to damage O-ring.
To remove the nozzle, turn the valve handle to the dispense position, to move arm/nozzle seal
away from nozzle. Turn the nozzle in a clockwise direction 45° and pull down. Clean the nozzle in
warm water, making sure that you don't lose the nozzle O-ring.
NEVER use hard sharp objects to clear the nozzle.
