User Instructions
1. Plug the power cord into the power outlet and turn on at the outlet. Ensure the cord is clear
from the stainless steel blades (1).
2. Turn the appliance on by holding down the On/Off switch (4) and the dual safety switch (6).
NOTE:
The appliance will only turn on if both buttons are held down (Fig.3).

3. Always place food to be sliced on a wooden or plastic cutting board. Do not slice on fine china,
metal or bench tops as scratches may occur. Move the appliance down through the food; do not
use a back and forth sawing motion when cutting food.
NOTE:
Do not use force when cutting.
4. For best results when carving meat or poultry, allow cooked meat to stand for 10 - 15 minutes
before slicing. This allows the juices to set and makes carving easier and cleaner. The carving
fork (9) is recommended for steadying the meat and assists in carving even slices.
NOTE:
Always clean the stainless steel blades (1) between cutting different food products to
avoid cross contamination.
CAUTION:
Do not attempt to sharpen the stainless steel blades (1) at home.
5. To remove the stainless steel blades (1) for cleaning, hold down the blade release button (3) and
grip the stainless steel blades (1) by the plastic blade handles (2) to pull out (Fig.4).
