8. PRD Warranty
Thank you for purchasing the Latchways PRD. Should you need to use our warranty service on this product,
we refer you to the terms and conditions set out below.
8.1 Standard conditions
Latchways warrants this product to be in good working order during the warranty period. In the event that the
product is found to be defective within the warranty period, a repair service will be provided free of charge by
returning the PRD to Latchways, in accordance with the details set out below.
This Latchways free of charge service may only be obtained against a validly entered warranty registration on
the Latchways website http://warranty.latchways.com, detailing (a) the purchasers name and contact details,
(b) the retailer's name and address, (c) the model name and serial number and (d) the date of purchase of the
product. Latchways reserves the right to refuse warranty service if this information is not complete or has been
removed or changed after the original purchase of the product by the consumer from the retailer. Latchways
further reserves the right to replace the defective product with another equivalent product which has the same
or similar quality to the defective product, instead of repairing the defective product.
8.2 Warranty period
This warranty is valid for one year from the date of purchase by the consumer, as evidenced by the
aforementioned documents.
8.3 To obtain warranty service
Warranty service is available by calling Latchways Sales Coordinator to obtain a Returns Material Authorization
(RMA) number and then returning the defective product to Latchways, Goods In Department, Hopton Park,
Devizes, Wiltshire, SN10 2JP, UK. Any costs of secure transportation of the product to and from Latchways
will be borne by the customer. RMA goods should be free from any hazardous materials before being returned
to Latchways.
8.3.1 Limitations
Latchways does not warrant the following:
• Periodic check-ups, maintenance and repair or replacement parts due to normal wear and tear.
• Failure to carry out periodic examinations as required by the product user instruction manual.
• Defects caused by modifications carried out without Latchways approval.
• Costs incurred by Latchways in making any adaptations or modifications of a product necessary for country
specific technical or safety standards or specifications, or any other costs to adjust the product as result of
any specifications which have changed since the delivery of the product.
• Damage resulting from the fact that a product is not conforming to country specific standards or
specifications in a country other than the country of purchase.
