Subject: Installation Procedure Model WBK10X Water Booster Pump
Omeration
1. Before applying supply water pressure, verify with air
gauge that the bladder pressure (Schrader valve) is
charged to 0.414 MPa (4.14 bar) (60 psi).
2. Turn water supply on, then plug unit into supply power
outlet/mains electrical supply.
3. Verify unit pump comes on and pumps up to 0.586 MPa
(5.86 bar) (85 psi) and then pump goes off.
4. Verify unit pump comes on at 0.448 MPa (4.48 bar)
(65 psi), by expelling water from system.
Annual Cleaning (Trained Service Technician)
A. Isolate or disconnect unit from power source/
mains electrical supply.
B.
Remove exterior debris or dirt from unit or its
components using a vacuum cleaner, soft bristle
brush or a nonabrasive towel/rag.
C. Check all electrical connections for condition and
water connections for leaks to ensure safety during
operation. If any issues are found then repairs are
needed before unit can be put back into operation.
D. Reconnect unit to power source/mains electrical
supply.

Before shipping, storing, or relocating this unit, system
must be vented of pressure, drained and cleaned.

If left in a freezing environment with residual water inside
unit/system damage will occur to internal components.

Welbilt recommends that for countries with non-
chlorinated potable water supplies, cleaning of the potable
water supplies should be performed on a 90-day time
interval, or more regularly if required by local legislation.
Cleaning or disinfecting should be performed by using an
environmentally friendly and approved chlorine detergent.
The approved chlorine detergent solution should be
injected into water supply line(s) after any in-line water
filtration systems and flushed through this equipment
to the point of dispense. Thorough flushing through of
the equipment with potable water following cleaning to
ensure no residual chemicals are left in the system.
