BEFORE STARTING
Insert both batteries in the cover. Make sure to observe the correct polarity. Replace the cover.
The contact of the cover must fit precisely into the guides on the device.
CAUTION
When removing the timer switch from a mains
socket for a longer period of time, please make
sure to remove the batteries to prevent battery
leakage. For the very same reason, always remove
depleted batteries immediately from the device.
If necessary, clean the battery contacts and
contacts in the device, before inserting batteries.
Always exchange both batteries at the same
time. When exchanging batteries, all of the
stored data is deleted.
Non-rechargeable batteries may never be recharged! Explosion hazard!
Do not throw batteries into a fire, do not short-circuit batteries and do not try to
disassemble them.
Do not expose batteries to extreme conditions, such as for instance heating units, direct
sunlight, etc.! Increase hazard of the battery leakage!

TAKING INTO OPERATION
Insert the timer switch in an earthed wall socket, which provides alternating current of 230 V~,
50 H.
TIP
The settings and programming of the timer switch can also be carried out during battery
operation. As soon as you connect the timer switch to the power supply network, power
will be supplied from mains.
Setting time parameters
1. Push the Program button, to switch from timer mode to set-
tings mode.
2. The display will show the message SET, and the weekday
blinks.
3. Push the DAY/SEC button for setting the desired weekday.
4. Push of the HRS button for setting the desired hour.
5. Push on the MIN button for setting the desired minutes
6. Push the RANDOM button, for making a selection between a 12-hour and a 24-hour format.
7. Push the S/W button for saving your settings.
