Continuity check

The continuity check is only possible with functioning
batteries inserted.
Check the function before starting the test by connecting
the two test tips together. A beep tone is emitted and
indicators 5 and 8 light up. If this is not the case, please
replace the batteries.
A signal tone and LED 8 for the continuity check indicate
that there is continuity.
Rotary field direction display
The display of the rotary field direction is only possible
with functioning batteries inserted.
The rotary phase display is always active. The symbols R
or L 7 are always displayed. Guide the two test tips to the
measuring points to be checked. Test tip 1 corresponds
to L1 and test tip 2 corresponds to L2. The indicator
B - 9
lights 7 indicate the corresponding rotary field direction
(L = left / R = right).
Torch
The voltage checker is additionally equipped with a
torch to enable voltage checks to be made in dark, poor-
ly accessible places.
To switch on the torch, simply press the lamp symbol 11;
to switch it off, simply release the button again.
06. Care and maintenance
Clean the device with a moist, soft, lint-free cloth. Take care
that no moisture enters the housing. Do not use sprays,
solvents, cleaning agents containing alcohol or scouring
agents; use only clean water to moisten the cloth. For rea-
sons of safety, the voltage checker should not be used for
approx. 5 hours after cleaning.
