POSITIONING AND STARTING
Follow the following precautions when positioning the appliance:
•
Put the appliance on a horizontal surface.
•
Put the appliance so that it is protected against overheating.
•
Plug the power cord into the power socket.
Warnings:
Electric shock hazard in case of use of the
appliance with damaged power cord. Nev-
er start the appliance with damaged power
cord.
Even when not in use, unplug the appliance before mounting or re-
moving the single parts or before cleaning.
•
Put the ingredients to be processed into the bowl (4).
•
Rotate the lever (11) clockwise of 1/4 of a turn and raise the arm
•
(6) of the appliance (Fig. B).
•
Insert the bowl lid (13) on the appliance arm by positioning the arrow on
the lid with the sign "
to the position

Insert the bowl (4) in the appliance base by rotating it clockwise (Fig.
D).
•
Insert the required attachment (1), (2), or (3) into the drive shaft (5)
making sure to match the grooves on the attachment with the pin on
the shaft, pull slightly and rotate anti-clockwise (Fig. E).
•
Rotate the lever (11) clockwise of 1/4 of a turn and lower the arm (6) with
the other hand (Fig. F).
•
Connect the plug (8) to the electrical socket, ensuring the mains power
corresponds to the one indicated on the appliance data tag.
•
Start appliance at minimum speed to avoid splashing, then increase it as
necessary (see table "A").
If the lever (11) is rotated by mistake, while the appliance is operating,
the latter stops automatically. In this case, turn the selector (12) to
position (0), rotate the lever (11) and lower the arm (6), then restart
processing from where it was interrupted.
