Multi-Connector Cable

The supplied multi-connector cable is required in order to maintain the camera's IP rating.
Connect the multi-connector cable to the camera's multi-connector and to the
connectors in the supplied media converter switch, see illustrations on page
page 6 and page 8. The cable provides the following signals:
• DC power
• Network (Ethernet 10/100Base-T)
• I/O
Function Pin Wire
Configurable 2, 7 Blue, yellow
(Input or
Output)
RX+ 3 Green/white
RX- 4 Green
TX+ 5 Orange/white
TX- 6 Orange
GND 8 Black
12 V Power 1, 9 Red
Notes
Digital input – Connect to GND to activate, or
leave floating (unconnected) to deactivate.
Digital output – Internal connection to ground
when activated, floating (unconnected) when
deactivated. If used with an external relay, a
diode must be connected in parallel with the
load, for protection against voltage transients.
