Operation
1
Dispensing room temperature and
cold water
iMPOrTanT: Drain approximately 4 glasses of water from each tap before initial use. This does not need to be done with replacement
bottles.
□ Place a glass under the spigot.
□ For cold water, press the blue button (E) until the desired amount of
water is dispensed.
□ Room temperature water can be accessed only when the hot water
heating system is not in use and will require activation of the child
safety switch (C). Slide the child safety switch (C) sideways from right
to left while simultaneously pressing the hot water dispensing button
(D) (red indicator bar) downward until the desired amount of water is
dispensed. Upon releasing the hot water button (D), the child safety lock
(C) automatically returns to the locked position.
2
Dispensing hot water
danGer: The hot water is heated to approximately 194˚F / 90˚C. Temperatures above 125˚F / 52˚C can cause severe burns from scalding.
DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO USE THE HOT WATER DISPENSING BUTTON WITHOUT PROPER AND DIRECT SUPERVISION.
iMPOrTanT: Your Glacier Bay water dispenser is designed with a special "safety" feature (low water level sensor) that controls activation/
operation of the kettle feature hot water tank heating system. If no water is present and/or low water levels are detected inside the internal
water reservoir, activation/operation of the kettle feature hot water heating system is not possible. Likewise, if the hot water heating system is
operational and water is being drawn, simultaneously causing internal water levels to drop below the established minimal level set point, hot
water tank operation is automatically suspended. To reactivate the hot water heating system, you must replenish your water supply. Operation
of the cold water system is not affected by this safety feature.
□ Press the red kettle feature button (F). The red light will begin flashing.
□ In less than 3 minutes, the red light will stay on, indicating that the hot
water is ready for dispensing.
□ Slide the child safety switch (C) sideways from right to left.
□ Press the hot water button (D) until the desired amount of water is
dispensed. To prevent hot water from being dispensed accidentally and
possibly harming a child, the hot water dispensing button can only be
operated when the child resistant safety switch (C) is activated.
□ Upon releasing the hot water button (D), the child safety lock
automatically returns to the locked position.
□ To stop/cancel the kettle feature during a cycle, simply press the kettle
feature button (F) a second time and the red LED light will stop flashing.
