Please Read Before Installing
Overview
The HR-VCTX-SW Visor Control Transmitter is for use
with HomeWorks systems in conjunction with the Visor
Control Receiver (HR-VCRX-SW), and allows the activa-
tion of home lighting scenes, garage doors, or gates from
the car.
Up to ten (10) Visor Control Transmitters may be used
with each Visor Control Receiver.
Important Notes
Batteries: (2) 3 Volt Lithium coin cell (#CR2032).
Batteries are included and pre-installed. Battery lifetime
is approximately 10 years.
Environment: Meets the temperature standards set by
the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE): -40°C
(-40°F) to 113°C (235°F).
Finish: Do not paint the Visor Control Transmitter.
Cleaning: To clean, wipe with a clean damp cloth. DO
NOT use any chemical cleaning solutions.
Transmitter to Receiver Range: Approximately 150 feet
(46 m).The performance of the Visor Control Transmitter
with the Visor Control Receiver is highly dependent upon
a variety of complex factors such as:
• Distance
• Construction of walls
• Electrical equipment nearby
System Control: The Visor Control Receiver must learn
a Visor Control Transmitter in order for the Transmitter to
operate the system. See the Installation Instructions pro-
vided with the Visor Control Receiver.

Installation
The Visor Control Transmitter can be mounted to a
vehicle's visor using the supplied visor clip.

Attach visor clip to Visor Control.

Mount Visor Control onto vehicle's visor.
Visor clip may need to be manually opened depending on visor
thickness.
