6. Heater vessel water filling procedure
1. Open the shut-off valve to allow the intake into the heater.
2. Open the hot water tap on the mixing manifold water heater. When the water begins to escape from
the mixing manifold water heater the filling is finished and the mixing water heater should be closed.

Check the tightness of the device.
The water from the heater is utility water. HUW quality is determined by the relevant standards.
7. Maintenance
The maintenance of the heater includes the control and the exchange of the Mg anode rod. The anode changes
the electrical potential within the heating vessel to reduce corrosion. In theory the life span of the anode is two years
but this depends on the hardness and the chemical composition of the water. We recommend carrying out a check
of the anode after two years of operation and if necessary it can be exchanged for another rod. Please do not
underestimate the importance of this additional heater vessel protection.
7.1. Installation procedure for exchanging the anode
1. Switch off the electric power to the heater.
2. Drain off approx. 1/5 of the water from the heater.
Procedure: Close the inlet valve.
Turn on the hot water tap.
Open the drainage valve of the heater.
3. The anode rod is screwed under the plastic cover at the upper cap of the heater.
4. Screw out the anode rod with a suitable wrench.
5. Remove the anode rod and repeat the above steps in reverse to re-assemble the anode rod.
6. When re-assembling take care about the proper connection of the earth wire. This is a necessary condition
for the correct functioning of the anode.
7. Re-fill the heater with water.
We recommend that the exchange of the anode would be provided by a service company.
