VALIDATE | After sensors are all placed
1. Log in to wpa.steelcase.com with a mobile device and navigate to the Device Manager tab.
2. Find the space you are validating.
3. Confirm all the sensors in space are showing as "Online" (green) in the Workplace Advisor Device Manager (see picture below).
Note: The number shown for each sensor is its serial number (found on the product label inside the battery cover and on the sensor package label).
4. Confirm all sensors are detecting motion correctly by following the process below:

Have everyone leave the room for 2 minutes and close all doors and windows to space.

Verify all sensors change to "Unoccupied" in Workplace Advisor; if they don't, investigate what is causing them to detect motion in the
Workplace Advisor Device Manager.

Simulate walking traffic past open door to ensure sensor is only reading activity within room.

One person re-enter room, trigger each sensor and watch each change to "Occupied" in Workplace Advisor.

Open all doors and leave space again for 2 minutes, verify that all sensors change to "Unoccupied."
5. Sign off on each room on printed install plans to keep track of progress.
6. Inform customer that sensor installation is complete once all spaces are validated.
