Chest clip must be positioned at center
of child's chest, level with armpits.

• Harness must be snug. A snug strap
should not allow any slack. It lies in a
relatively straight line without sagging.
It does not press on the child's flesh or
push the child's body into an unnatural
position. If you can pinch a fold in the
strap, harness is too loose.
• Chest clip must be positioned at center
of child's chest, level with armpits.
• Straps must be lying flat, free of twists
and on top of child's shoulders.
• If the neck pads interfere with correct
chest clip positioning, remove the
neck pads.
STRANGULATION HAZARD:
• Child can strangle in loose restraint straps.
ALWAYS use harness. NEVER leave child in
carrier when straps are loose or undone.
