Base Install with Lap & Shoulder
Belt [or] Lap Belt Only

If the vehicle seat back is adjustable, move it into the most
upright position or the position recommended for child
restraint installation in the vehicle owner's manual.

LEVEL LINE
Level line should be
parallel to the ground.
If not, re-adjust level.

Base Install with Lap & Shoulder Belt [or] Lap Belt Only

1. Press down on base near
belt path.
2. Pull on the shoulder belt
(or free end of the lap
belt if using lap belt only)
to tighten.
3. Ensure belts are tucked
under vehicle belt guide
and are not twisted.
