If the vehicle seat back is adjustable, move it into the most
upright position or the position recommended for child
restraint installation in the vehicle owner's manual. Ensure the
vehicle seat is clear of obstructions.

follow the instructions for measuring ground angle.
When installing without the 4moms app,
confirm that your car is parked on level ground.
