Copies of the I/B. Please reproduce them without any changes except under special
instruction from Bimar (Italy). The pages must be reproduced and folded in order to obtain a
booklet A5 (+/- 148.5 mm width x 210 mm height). When folding, make sure you keep the good
numbering when you turn the pages of the I/B. Don't change the page numbering. Keep the
language integrity.
Do not use steel wool or abrasive substances which would scratch the non-stick treatment.
Normal use
•
You may season the plates with butter, margarine or cooking fat.
•
Close the appliance and plug into the electrical outlet. The red pilot light (1) will come to
indicate that the appliance is switched on.
•
The green pilot light (2) will come on when the cooking temperature is reached. During use, this
ready light will come on and off regularly. This simply means that the thermostat is regulating
the appliance's temperature.
•
Fully open the sandwich maker, and place the foods with molds to prepare 4 croquettes
•
Fill the sandwich.
•
Lock the two halves with the wire clip while toasting.
•
Close the lid to preserve the heat until you are ready to toast the next sandwiches.
•
Unplug when finished.
Never leave the appliance connected to the socket if it is not in use, especially for long periods.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning: before cleaning the appliance, turn it off and unplug it from the power point. The appliance
and all the parts which come in contact with food (plates) require careful cleaning after each use.
• Never plunge the appliance in water, any other liquid or dishwasher.
• Regularly clean the plates: can be cleaned with a normal dishwasher detergent with a soft cloth.
Before cleaning the plates, remove the excess oil with a paper towel or a soft cloth. Do not use
detergents or abrasive objects and to avoid damaging the non-stick coating plate for grilling.
• To clean the outer surface always use a soft cloth slightly damp with water only.
• Wipe the outside with only a slightly moistened cloth ensuring that no moisture, oil or grease enters
the cooling slots.
• Do not clean the inside or outside with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool as this will damage
the finish.
• If you decide not to use the appliance any more, we recommend making it inoperative by cutting the
power cord (after making sure you have disconnected the plug from the socket) and make
dangerous parts harmless if children are allowed to play with them.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THE PRODUCT IN
ACCORDANCE WITH EC DIRECTIVE 2011/65/EC.
At the end of its working life, the product must not be disposed of as urban waste. It must be taken to
a special local authority differentiated waste collection centre or to a dealer providing this service.
Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative consequences for the
environment and health deriving from inappropriate disposal and enables the constituent materials to
be recovered to obtain significant savings in energy and resources. As a reminder of the need to
