It is recommended to use the device before bathing your pet. Make sure the appliance is
completely dry and the teeth were cleaned properly.
Use the comb exclusively when your pet's fur is completely dry. The comb is sensitive to
moisture, it does not work on wet fur.
Separate the fur with your hand until you can see the skin and comb from the skin upwards.
Patiently comb zone by zone allowing the comb to run through the pet's fur.
To avoid irritation by the electric charge, do not touch both sides of the teeth
with your fingers (see Figure 2 alongside).
When fleas are found, use the comb every day for two weeks. Thereafter use
the comb 2 or 3 times a week to remove newly hatched fleas.
The well-being of your pet is most important.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Warning: before cleaning the comb remove the batteries.
• Comb: requires thorough cleaning after each use to avoid build up of fleas, dandruff, fur, dirt between
the teeth. Wash the comb using the brush supplied or a regular small brush with warm water and
ordinary dish washing detergent, then rinse with plenty of water, and dry thoroughly.
• The main part of the appliance must only be cleaned with a soft cloth that has been slightly dampened
either with just water and/or ordinary detergent. It cannot be washed in the dishwasher, nor under a
stream of water: if the electrical parts (battery connections) get wet, dry carefully and completely
before using it again.
• If you decide to no longer use the appliance, it is recommended that it is made inoperative by
removing the batteries, and that any parts that could represent a risk to playing children are made
.

Used batteries must be disposed of at appropriate collection centres at your local authority
or in suitable containers. In this way, local laws will be respected.
Correctly disposing of the product as per European Directive 2011/65/UE.
At the end of its lifespan, the product must not be disposed of as part of ordinary waste.
It can be handed in to specific collection points set up by the municipality, or to retailers who provide
such a service.
Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative consequences for the
environment and human health resulting from inappropriate disposal and allows the recovery of the
materials of which it is made in order to obtain significant savings in energy and resources. As a
reminder of the obligation to dispose of appliances separately, the product is marked with a wheeled
bin symbol. Incorrect disposal of the product by the user will lead to administrative sanctions
according to current law.
Copies of the I/B. Please reproduce them without any
changes except under special instruction from Bimar
(Italy). The pages must be reproduced and folded in
order to obtain a booklet A5 (+/- 148.5 mm width x 210
mm height). When folding, make sure you keep the good
numbering when you turn the pages of the I/B. Don't
change the page numbering. Keep the language
integrity.
