Installation

Determine joist width
□ Measure the distance from the center of the two
ceiling joists where you will be installing the
ventilation fan.
□ For 12 in. spaced joists, proceed to step 2. For
joist spacing 16 in. – 24 in. proceed to step 3.
NOTE: Sliding hanger bars are provided to allow for
accurate positioning of the main body between joists.

12 in. joist installation
□ Use four long wood screws (BB) to attach the main
body of the fan to ceiling joists in the four locations
shown.
□ Ensure the main body is level and square to the
joists.
□ Tighten all screws.

Suspension bracket installation
□ Install suspension brackets (C and D) on one side
of the main body using M4x12 screws (CC).
□ Install suspension bracket (B) on the opposite side
of the main body using M4x12 screw (CC).
