The User
The user can make one of the following actions:
CALL TO A FLAT: Introduce a numerical call code between 1 and 255 and press . If the
access is external (with SDL) the code will be between 1 and 9999.
OPEN THE DOOR: Press , the display will show asterisks, introduce a correct code of up
to 6 digits and press again. The door will be opened.
When the user gets close to the panel, he will see two messages alternating on the screen every 3
seconds approximately:
Main Screen 1
Main Screen 2
CALL TO A FLAT
To perform the call, (in example, a monitor responding to the code 123 from internal panel or
1234 from external panel) the user must introduce the code and then press the key. If the code
is greater than 255 in a internal panel, the system will return to the main screens 1 and 2. In a
external panel the system accepts the last 4 digits.
There exist different display messages:
Introduce code 123
Introduce code 1234
(SDL 12, flat 34)
Press . The monitor doesn't exist or
there is no answer (switched off?)
Press . The SDL doesn't exist or
there is no answer
Press . The line is busy by another
panel (multi-panel installation)
Press . The monitor is available
and ringing
Somebody in the flat leaves the
handset up.
