TROUBLESHOOTING
Note: Because this sound monitor is wireless, it is possible that similar products in
your home or neighborhood may interfere with the reception. In the event of inter-

ference, change the channel on both the receiver and the transmitter. Remember,
they both must be on the same channel for the monitor to operate properly.
Problem
You are receiving no sound.
You are receiving a lot of
static.
You are receiving a constant
humming sound on your
receiver.
The sound is very weak.
You are getting a shrill sound.
It sounds like your monitor is
turned off but it is on.

Solution
Check that the AC adapters are plugged into working out-
lets. If using batteries, check that they are properly
installed and/or replace them.
Check that both the transmitter and receiver are set to the
same channel and they are within the transmission range.
Switch the Voice Activation feature on. This will eliminate
background noise but it will automatically turn on the
transmitter if your baby makes noise.
Check volume setting on receiver. Check that there is
nothing obstructing the transmitter or receiver. Check for
dead batteries if using battery power.
Increase the distance between the transmitter and receiver.
Lower the volume on the receiver.
Check the Voice Activation feature. If it is on, you may
choose to turn it off.
