WARNING
Before carrying out any work on the boiler, fi rst isolate it
from the electrical power supply using the external double
pole switch.
Electrical connections
For increased safety, the entire electrical system should be checked by
a qualifi ed electrical engineer.
The manufacturer may not be held responsible for any damage caused
by the lack of a suitable earthing system or by the malfunctioning of
the electricity mains supply. Ensure that the electrical system can
provide the maximum power required by the module (as shown
on the data plate). Make sure that the cross section of the wires is
suitable and is no less than 1.5 mm
For safety of operation, the equipment must be connected to an
effi cient earthing system.
The power supply cable must be connected to a 230V 50Hz network,
ensuring the correct connection of L-N and earth.

Important!

The connection to the mains must be permanent (not using a plug),
through a Dual Pole isolator switch, having a contact air gap of at least
3 mm when open. The module is fi tted with a power supply cable
without a plug.

For a low temperature fl oor installation, use safety thermostat refe-
rence 3318281 for underfl oor heating concerning Zones 2 and 3.
The electrical connection must be made on terminal blocks ST2 and
ST3 of the module.
Outdoor temperature sensor
An outdoor temperature sensor can be connected to the module's
"SE" terminal block. This can be used to display the outdoor tempe-
rature, or for temperature control if:
- the module is connected to the boiler via the BUS connection
(scenario no. 1),
- the SRA function is active.
In this scenario, the outdoor temperature sensor connected to the
module overrides the sensor that may be connected to the boiler.
