Applications
The factory settings of all GROHE infrared and radar fittings
can be changed using the infrared remote control.
The current settings are permanently stored in the fitting and
will not be lost in case of power failure.
Battery change
If the indicator (A) no longer flashes when a button is pressed,
the batteries should be checked, see fold-out page II.
Changing battery, see fold-out page II.
Check contacts, clean and if necessary replace batteries.
Only use Micro 1.5 V (AAA, LR03) type batteries.
Insert batteries with correct polarity.
Disposal note
Dispose of batteries in accordance with national
regulations.
Operation
1. In the case of basin fittings, start the water flow by
approaching the sensor system of the fitting.
In the case of urinal and WC fittings, allow an object to be
detected for at least 5 s by the infrared sensor system.
2. Point the remote control at the fitting from a distance of
between 20 and 50cm, and press a button within 10 s.
In the case of radar urinal fittings, adjustment and feedback
are performed via the electronic module.
• Each correct press of a button is confirmed by the indicator
lamp (A) flashing on the remote control, see fold-out page I.
If the indicator lamp does not flash, either button was not
pressed properly, or the batteries in the remote control are
empty, see Battery change.
• Each accepted remote control command is confirmed by
flashing of the indicator lamp in the sensor system of the
fitting. Please refer to the relevant functional descriptions
for the flashing intervals.
3. After each accepted remote control command, the fitting
remains receive-ready for a further 60 s.
