2. Important safety information

NOTE
It is always recommended to use 2 people when setting up larger softbo-
xes/striplights from around 90/90 cm.
WARNING
Danger for the eyes
Tensioning the rods can be dangerous for the eyes.
■ When tensioning the rods, make sure they don't spring up into your
eyes. There is a risk of severe eye injury.
■ Make sure that those not involved in setting up the product keep a safe
distance of 1 m away from the product.
CAUTION
There is a risk of impact and crushing when tensioning the rods.
■ Make sure you don't crush your fingers when opening or folding the
rods on the speed ring.
■ Keep children and animals away from the product.
WARNING
Hot parts can cause burns
Depending on the studio flash used, the modelling light, flash tube, the
speed ring and softbox adapter may become hot.
■ Do not touch these parts during use and while the unit is cooling down.
■ Allow the studio flash to cool down as specified in the operating instruc-
tions, before attempting to set it up or repair it.
■ Do not put your hands into the softbox or change the inner diffuser
while it is in operation or cooling down.
