NEVER remove the media when the green LED is FLASHING

General usage guide for transferring pictures and other types of files

Windows Users:
Transfer data to and from the memory card. Copy, paste, delete or drag and drop data files
as you would with any other disk drive, such as floppy disk, hard disk, zip disk or other
storage disk.
1. Double click on "My Computer" on the
desktop
2. Double click on the appropriate
"Removable Disk" drive letter
3. Double click on the DCIM or DCimages
folder (May vary depending on camera)
4. This folder will contain the picture files or
a folder containing the picture files
(depending on your camera)
To save pictures to your computer from the Removable Disk:
1. Locate or create a destination folder you
wish to transfer the picture files to on your
computer (i.e. create a new folder on the
desktop)
2. Open the folder containing the picture
files on the Removable Disk Drive in the
ImageMate
3. Go to the edit menu and choose select all
(this will highlight all of the picture files)
4. Go to the edit menu and choose COPY
5. Go to the destination folder
6. Go to the edit menu and choose PASTE
7. The pictures will be COPIED to the
destination folder
Removing Media (Windows)
To remove Windows media:
1. Open My Computer.
2. Right-click on the corresponding drive icon.
3. Select Eject. (this is not applicable for Windows 98SE)
4. Pull the media out of the slot.
Removing Media (Macintosh)
To remove Macintosh media, drag the 'untitled' removable disk icon to the desktop Trash icon
and then pull the media out of the slot.

To view pictures on the Removable Disk:
