Before you start

The IP C ame ra Tool allows:
• managing use rs, passwords and use r pe rm issions
• managing m ultiple came ras.
O n first use , the IP C ame ra Tool has a single adm inistrator use r with
no password and a single cam e ra.
Ple ase refe r to the full manual on the cd included in the package for
more information.

Starting the surve illance softwa re

To start the IP Came ra Tool:
1. Make sure the came ra is prope rly conne cte d to the com pute r or
local ne twork via a route r and a sock e t.
2. Double-click the icon IP Came ra Tool on your desk top.
The tool will de te ct the came ra conne cted to your com pute r or
local ne twork .
3. Double-click the came ra you want to use .
The tool will ope n a ne w window in your de fault browse r.
