CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS

Corporation 12 volt battery
packs in this charger. Charging any other
devices in this charger may be hazardous.
To remove the battery pack from the tool or
charger, push in the release buttons on the
sides of the battery pack and pull it away from
the tool or the charger.
Charge your battery pack before you use the
tool for the first time and when your tool no
longer performs with the power and torque
needed for the job.
1. The battery pack may feel hot after use with
the tool, allow the battery to sufficiently cool
before charging.
2. Insert the charger plug into the recommended
power source.

Please note that when charging new or fully discharged batteries, the RED LED may flash for
a few minutes. THIS IS NORMAL FOR HOT OR COLD OR NEW OR FULLY DISCHARGED
BATTERIES. After the initial few minutes, then review the LED chart below to determine the status
of your battery.

HOT BATTERY - light will flash until battery cools

3. The charger has 2 LED lights, red and green,
located near where the base of the battery sits
within the charger. (Refer to table below for
Model 100138 - no Type number, and Model
100138 - Type 2.) Depending on the charge
status of the battery, these lights may be on, off,
or flashing.
4. Place the battery pack into the charger, so
that it fits into the battery pocket. (a) The
charger will not fast charge if the battery pack is
too hot or too cold, the charger enters fast
charge when the temperature is between 32˚ F
(0˚ C) and 105˚ F (41˚ C). (b) During fast
charge the green indicator light is on.
5. During fast charge the green indicator is
illuminated, charging time is around one hour
for a discharged pack.

Charge in a well ventilated area. Do not block
charger vents. Keep them clear to allow proper
ventilation. Do not allow smoking or open
flames near a charging battery pack.
Vented gases may explode.
Unplug charger after charging, to reduce the
risk of fire or explosion.
Do not burn, mutilate or disassemble battery
pack. The battery pack can explode in a fire.
Mutilation may expose fluids, causing burns.
Battery fluids cause serious chemical burns.
Never allow contact with skin or eyes. If a
damaged battery pack leaks battery fluids, use
rubber or neoprene gloves to dispose of it. If
skin is exposed to battery fluids, wash with soap
and water and rinse with vinegar. If eyes are
effected, immediately flush with water for 15
minutes and seek medical attention.

Do not short circuit. A battery pack will short
circuit if a metal object makes a connection
between the positive and negative contacts on
the battery pack. Do not place a battery pack
near anything that may cause a short circuit,
such as coins or keys in your pocket. A short
circuit battery pack may cause fire and personal
injury.
Store your battery pack and charger in a
cool, dry place. Do not store battery pack
where temperatures may exceed 120˚ F (50˚ C)
such as in a vehicle or metal building during the
summer.
