CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
In winter, lack of humidity can cause dry skin and cause irritation of the nose, frequent colds, sore throat, etc. Humidifiers
produce relative humidity and protect our health. Use the following maintenance instructions in order to get the most
out of the humidifier without damaging it. If you do not follow these guidelines, unwanted microorganisms can grow
in the appliance.
DAILY MAINTENANCE
• Prior to cleaning, switch the appliance off and disconnect it from the mains.
• Take off the water tank and the top of the humidifier.
• Rinse the tank thoroughly and remove any deposits and dirt. Clean and dry it using a clean soft cloth or paper cloth.
• Fill the tank with fresh cold tap water as described in the water filling instructions.
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE
• Repeat the three above mentioned daily maintenance points.
• Pour about 200 ml of vinegar into the water tank and leave it for 15 minutes. After that remove a limescale from the
water tank and the converter using a fine brush (Fig. 1).
• Finally wipe any limescale and vinegar residue with a clean soft cloth.
