Disposal
If the appliance should be discarded, is must be made
unusable (e.g. by cutting the mains supply cord
and plug) and disposed according to the current
regulations.
You can obtain information
on how to do so from your
local municipality.
Dispose of the packing in
the right waste category!
A scratched sole on the iron or signs of wear on the
fabric sleeve on the connecting hose do not impair
the function and are therefore not accepted as
grounds for a complaint.
Malfunction or damage caused by deposition of
limestone, are not covered by the warranty.
Repairs and service work must only be carried out by
the Leifheit customer service or authorised personnel
with original replacement parts and accessories.
We recommend keeping the original packaging as
transport protection.

Warranty

The manufacturer's warranty claims arising
from material and manufacturing defects are
regulated according to the following warranty
provisions:
1. The warranty period only applies to defects arising
from material and manufacturing defects. Defects
arising from frequent use, such as scratched iron
soles, defective electrical connections and supply
network that are caused by inappropriate use and
the use of the force are excluded.
2. During the warranty period, the manufacturer
decides, at his own discretion, whether to replace
or repair the defective parts at no cost. Any further
claims, in particular, compensation are excluded.
3. Warranty claims do not extend the warranty period.
This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
4. Repair work or appliance assembly performed by
unauthorised personnel or service centres renders
the warranty null and void.
5. Transport damages are excluded from the warranty.
6. Any damages and defects that exist upon purchasing
the appliance must be reported immediately after
unpacking the appliance, no later than 2 days after
the date of purchase.
