Normal intended use
• The moisture measuring instrument is only designed for
measuring the moisture content of wood, building materials
(such as sheets of drywall and gypsum plaster) as well as
for measuring the ambient temperature.
• The moisture measuring instrument is not intended to
determine the residual moisture in freshly installed solid
building materials (such as concrete and screed) which shall
be covered with tiles or laminate. Such applications required
a measuring instrument with depth measurement probe.
• The moisture content is measured sticking probes into the
material to be measured or to hold them on such materials.
• A sensor determines the temperature.
• Designated use also includes the adherence to the safety
notes and instructions contained in these operating
instructions.
• Any other use is deemed not to be intended use. The
manufacturer is not liable for any type of damage resulting
from this: the user bears the sole risk.
• Arbitrary modifications on the device exclude a liability of the
manufacturer for damages of all kinds resulting from it.
Risidual risks
Even if used properly, residual risks can exist even if the
relevant safety regulations are complied with due to the design
determined by the intended purpose.
Residual risks can be minimised if the "Safety instructions" and
the "Normal intended use" as well as the whole of the operating
instructions are observed.
Observing these instructions, and taking proper care, will
reduce the risk of personal injury or damage to the equipment.
In addition, in spite of all the precautionary measures taken,
non-obvious residual risks can still exist.
