1 Assembly Carrying Strap
The mask carrier can be carried either by the handle on the cover or by a carrying
strap.
1.1 In case the mask carrier is to be carried by the carrying strap, the strap must first be
assembled through the loops (Fig. 1).
2 Use of a Full Face Mask With Two Advantage Filters (Fig. 1)
The mask carrier is designed for a full face mask with twin filter connectors (Advanta-
ge 1000, Advantage 3000) and two corresponding filters.
2.1 Assembly of the Velcro strap to fix the filters.
The ends of the Velcro strap are pulled through the
loops on the inside of the cover with the Velcro surface
towards the user.
2.2 When using the mask carrier, after opening the cover,
the mask is placed inside the carrier in an upright positi-
on. Then the Velcro strap ends are opened and filters
are placed into the receptacles on the cover inside. To
fix the filters, the Velcro strap ends are tightened and fi-
xed on the strap center. Now the cover can be closed.
3 Use of a Full face Mask (With or Without Helmet-Mask Adapter With
a Standard Filter (Fig. 2)
The mask carrier is designed for a full face mask with standard single filter connector
(e.g. MSA AUER 3S or MSA AUER Ultra Elite) and the corresponding filter.
3.1 When using the mask carrier, after opening the cover,
the mask is placed inside the carrier in an upright posi-
tion. Then the filter is fixed by sliding the filter closure
of the connector into the T-shaped groove on the car-
rier inside. Now the cover can be closed.
4 Use of the Wall Rack
For storage or stand-by of the mask carrier, the accompanying wall rack can be used.
The wall rack is fixed horizontally to the wall with two screws. Then the mask carrier
can be attached with its slot on the backside onto the wall rack.
