3. Installare il software SunVideo Plus 1.3 usando il comando pkgadd:
a. Per gli ambienti operativi Solaris 2.5.1, Solaris 2.6 e Solaris 7, installare i
package software di base:
nomehost# cd /cdrom/sunvideo_plus_1_3/Common/Packages
nomehost# /usr/sbin/pkgadd -d .
Scegliere all (tutto) per installare i package di base.
b. Procedere per installare package specifici per le diverse release di Solaris.
Per installare i package per l'ambiente operativo Solaris 2.5.1 Hardware: 4/97,
8/97 e 11/97, digitare:
nomehost# cd /cdrom/sunvideo_plus_1_3/Solaris_2.5.1/Packages
nomehost# /usr/sbin/pkgadd -d .
Scegliere all (tutto).
Per installare i package per l'ambiente operativo Solaris 2.6, digitare:
nomehost# cd /cdrom/sunvideo_plus_1_3/Solaris_2.6/Packages
nomehost# /usr/sbin/pkgadd -d .
Scegliere all (tutto).
Per installare i package per l'ambiente operativo Solaris 7, digitare:
nomehost# cd /cdrom/sunvideo_plus_1_3/Solaris_7/Packages
nomehost# /usr/sbin/pkgadd -d .
Scegliere all (tutto).
4. Dopo avere installato il software, disattivare ed espellere il CD-ROM:
nomehost# cd /
nomehost# umount /cdrom/sunvideo_plus_1_3
nomehost# eject cdrom
5. Riavviare la workstation:
nomehost# reboot -- -r
Questo permetterà al sistema operativo di riconoscere la scheda SunVideo Plus.
