Statement of use
This product is intended to be used to monitor and
control tools. No other use permitted.

Product specific instructions
Storage and transport
• The components should be stored at a dry
place, and should be protected from dust and
aggressive media. High variation of tempera-
ture should be avoided.
• Each connection should be removed before
transport to avoid breaking the connecting ca-
bles.
Use sufficient insulation of the shipping packet
to protect components against damage.
Installation safety
• Refer installation to qualified personnel only.
• Always connect the system to an earthed outlet.
• Always make sure that the mains plug is dis-
connected and the controller is turned off be-
fore connecting or disconnecting the tool cable.
Operation safety
• This product shall only be operated indoors in
dry rooms.

• This product must not be used in explosive at-
mospheres.
• The product must only be operated by a quali-
fied person in an industrial assembly environ-
ment. Make sure that the tool bit does not come
in contact with the conductors in the controller
cord, or any other concealed conductors or live
electrical parts.
• The tool is intended for intermittent use. A typ-
ical operating cycle is 1 s on, 4 s off. This may
vary substantially depending on the applica-
tion. The acceptable duty cycle depends on
many factors including torque and joint type.
The tool contains protective mechanisms that
ensure that the acceptable duty cycle is not ex-
ceeded.
Maintenance safety
• Cleaning of the components and the connecting
cables should not be done with solvent contain-
ing cleanser.
• Trouble-shooting and re-start of the system
may only be carried out by an authorized per-
son.
• Refer servicing to qualified personnel only.
