KRATOS SAFETY certifies that this equipment has been tested in accordance with the standard EN 795:2012, Type B.
COMPATIBILITY FOR USE:
The device is for use with a fall arrest system as defined in the product datasheet (see standard EN 363) to guarantee that the dynamic force exerted
on the user during the arrest of a fall is no greater than 6 kN. A fall arrest harness (EN 361) is the only body-gripping device that may be used. It may be
dangerous to create one's own fall arrest system, wherein each safety function can interfere with another safety function. Therefore, it is important to
read the recommendations on using each component in the system before use.
INSPECTION:
The expected service life of the product is not limited in time, if it is inspected annually by a competent person approved by KRATOS SAFETY.
The equipment should be inspected if there is any uncertainty or after a fall and at least annually, by the manufacturer or a competent person
authorised by the manufacturer to check its strength and hence the user's safety. The product data sheet should be completed (in writing) after each
verification. The date of inspection and date of the next inspection must be indicated on the data sheet. It is also recommended to put the date of the
next inspection on the product.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE: (These instructions must be strictly observed)
During transportation, keep the equipment away from any cutting edges and keep it in its packaging. Clean with water, wipe with a cloth and hang in a
ventilated room to dry naturally, ensuring that it is away from any direct light or source of heat; the same applies for elements that may have become
wet during use. The system must be stored in its packaging in a cool, dry and ventilated room.
