BEFORE USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER FOR THE FIRST TIME
Check that the coffee maker is switched on.
Open the water reservoir lid.

Fill the reservoir with a sufficient amount of water. DO NOT ADD ANY

Close the lid to to enable to coffee preparation cycle to start.

Plug the power cable into a mains socket and press the

coffee maker. The start-up indicator will turn on.
As soon as the carafe is full, switch off the coffee maker.

Leave the appliance too cool for 5 minutes. Run the cycle 2 or 3 more times to

improve the flavour of the coffee.
PREPARING COFFEE
Place the coffee maker on a surface that is dry, flat and heat-resistant, far enough

away from the edge to ensure that it doesn't fall.
Remove the carafe from the heating plate and place to the side. Fill the water

reservoir with cold water.
• The markers on the side of the water reservoir indicate the water level required for
the numbers of cups you wish to make.
• To avoid spraying hot water, do not fill the coffee maker above the maximum
limit.
Turn the filter holder in an clockwise direction while holding the catch open.

Insert the nylon filter into the filter holder. Add the desired amount of ground

coffee to the filter (the standard measure is one measuring scoop per cup of coffee).
Turn the filter holder in an anti-clockwise direction until you hear it click into

Place the carafe in the correction position on the heating plate.

Plug the power cable into a mains socket. "12:00" will appear on the display.

Press the
button on the control panel to start preparing coffee.

• The red indicator will turn on, indicating that the cycle has started.
• As soon as the coffee is ready, it can be served.
• Pour the coffee into cups and replace the carafe on the heating plate to keep the
coffee warm.
Press the
switch to switch the coffee maker off. The red indicator will turn off.

If you would like to prepare other cups, leave your coffee maker to cool for 5

minutes before starting another cycle.
