Power

1. Check that the AC mains voltage stat-
ed on the supplied AC adapter is iden-
tical to the AC mains voltage available
where you will use your system. Using
the AC adapter with a different AC
voltage may damage the unit.
2. Connect the DC cable (2) on the AC
adapter (1) to the DC IN jack on the
rear panel of the Charger (3).
3. Connect the AC adapter (1) to a con-
venient power outlet (4).

4 Operating Notes

4.1 Charging Batteries

We recommend SANYO HR-4U
(650 mAh) or Panasonic Rechargeable
PRO+ (550 mAh) NiMH rechargeable
batteries for WMS 40 microtools Series
transmitters.
1. Check that there is a battery inside
the transmitter.
Important: Never try to charge dry
(non-rechargeable)
These will become very hot and
may damage the transmitter by
chemical reactions.
2. Switch the transmitter off.
3. Insert the transmitter (1) into the
appropriate charging receptacle (2)
on the charger as shown in figs. 2
through 4 on page 12.
