SWITCH ASSEMBLY FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Buffer must be fully extended before switch is set up.
The switch is supplied in a plastic bag, which is taped to the side of the expansion tank. As switches are fragile these should
be fitted as late as possible in the installation process and certainly after all other heavy equipment is installed in the pit area.
Follow below steps to install:

forward to touch

With switch positioned and
held in place as fig. 9 remove
backing from adhesive tape,
press sub plate firmly up to
bracket with 2 screws
protruding through
Fit two washers and nuts to
secure switch

Plastic cap
removed and
discarded

Position bracket
assembly in
Fit nut securely
to guide, apply
thread lock

(eg. Loctite
242/243) tighten
nut to 10 Nm
(8 ft/lbs)
Square up
bracket as shown
