REPLACEMENT CARTRIDGE CHANGE INSTRUCTIONS

It is recommended that cartridges be replaced every 4-6 months, depending on local water conditions and use.

1. Close shut off valve before (inlet)
filter head. Important: Open a
faucet after the filter or depress
refrigerator water dispenser (if
equipped) to relieve internal
pressure.
2. Grasp cartridge securely, and
rotate clockwise. If water line has
not been fully depressurized, a
small discharge of water may
occur. Gently pull cartridge
straight out and discard.
3. Align tabs of cartridge with head
and insert new cartridge into head.
Turn as shown until cartridge stops.
4. Open the inlet shut-off valve, and
flush new cartridge for five
minutes. Due to air and carbon
fines, water may initially run
cloudy but will quickly clear.
