• Remove all packing material, any stickers from the product, and the
plastic band around the plug.
• Remove and save literature.
• Please visit www.prodprotect.com/blackanddecker to register your
warranty.
• Wash all removable parts as instructed in the CARE AND CLEANING
section of this manual.

Important: Appliance should always have lid in place when in use.
Caution: Do not place blender jar onto base when motor is running.
1. Uncoil power cord from under the base
2. Place motor base on a flat stable surface
3. Place one-piece jar on motor base. Turn to lock into place.
4. Make sure blender is unplugged and place ingredients to be blended
into jar. For best results and the most efficient blend, place ingredients in
the jar in the following order:
a. Liquids
b. Powders
c. Soft foods
d. Hard foods
e. Ice
5. Place the lid on the jar, making sure the slide opening is closed.
6. Plug power cord into outlet.
Note: When using hard foods, such as ice or cheese, keep one hand on the
lid to keep blender in place.
7. Push the Pulse button to begin blending. When finished, release the
button to stop blending.
Important: Do not remove the lid while the blender is running.
8. Always unplug the appliance when not in use.
