• When preparing foods that have several different kinds of ingredients,
always add liquid ingredients first.
• Cut food into pieces no larger than ¾" for use in the blender.
• Cut frozen ingredients or large, firm fruits and vegetables into small ½"
chunks.
• When blending frozen or hard ingredients, add these ingredients last.
• Do not overfill the personal jar. Fill only to two-thirds full.
• When making bread crumbs make sure blender jar is completely dry.
• Do not store foods in the blending jar.
• Do not chop or process foods such as cheese or meat in this blender.
• Do not process hot foods or hot liquids in this blender.
• Do not use if blending jar is chipped or cracked.
• It is not recommended to use your blender to beat egg whites, mix
dough, mash potatoes, or grind meats.
• To crush ice, fill blending jar 1⁄3 full of ice cubes. Cover. Using quick pulses,
pulse 6 to 8 times. Allow ice to fall back towards blades between pulses.
DO NOT PLACE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING IN THE BLENDER:
• Large pieces of frozen foods
• Dense foods such as raw turnips, sweet potatoes and potatoes
• Bones
• Hard salami, pepperoni
• Boiling liquids

This product contains no user serviceable parts. Refer service to qualified
service personnel.
• Unplug the blender base before cleaning. Wipe the blender base using a
damp cloth. Remove stubborn spots by rubbing with a damp cloth and
nonabrasive cleaner. Do not immerse the blender base in water.
• The personal blending jar, and travel lid are dishwasher safe,
recommended in top rack. All removable parts can also be hand washed
in warm water with dish soap. Use caution when hand washing the jar as
the blades have sharp edges. Rinse well and dry.
• Do not place the jar parts in boiling liquids.
Note: If liquids spill onto the base, wipe with a damp cloth and dry
thoroughly. Do not use rough scouring pads or cleansers on parts or finish.
