the recording.
NB:
Once an announcement has been recorded, this announcement
(and not the default one) will be played when there is a call.
Answering delay
You can set the number of ring signals after which the answering machine is
activated. You can choose between 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 ring signals and
the "Time saver".
 In the "Settings" menu select the "Answere Delay" entry.
 Select the desired number of ring signals or the economy mode and
confirm with "Select".
Economy mode
In economy mode, you can avoid connection fees when playing back your
answering machine from outside. In economy mode, the answering machine
switches on after four ring signals for the FIRST caller. For every subsequent
call, the answering machine switches on after the first ring signal. Read page
48 to find out how to listen to and set your personal messages from outside.
To check if you have new messages, proceed as follows:
 Call your connection from the outside.
 If new messages have been recorded, the answering machine will switch
on after the first ring signal.
 If you hear a second ring signal, then this means that no new messages
have been recorded for you.
 In this case, hang up immediately. Otherwise, the answering machine will
switch on after the fourth ring signal.
