Length of recording
You can set a maximum length for messages on the answering machine. The
default value is 60 seconds. The total recording time is 15 minutes.
 In the "Settings" menu select the "Recording" entry.
 Select either "60 Sec.", "120 Sec.", "180 Sec." or "Unlimited" and
confirm with "Select".
Monitoring – Base
You can listen in on the incoming call via the base station by setting the
corresponding function.
If you select the "Off" option under "Base Screening", you will not be able
to hear the message whilst it is being recorded.
Remote access
You can activate the remote access function to listen to recorded messages
from a different telephone.
 In the "Settings" menu, select "Remote Access" and confirm with
"Select".
 Select "On" or "Off" and confirm with "Select".
Changing the remote enquiry PIN
The PIN is a password and is used to prevent strangers from using the remote
enquiry of your answering machine. The default setting for the PIN is "0000".
This PIN is not identical with the system PIN.
 In the "Settings" menu select the "Modify Pin" entry.
 Enter the current remote enquiry PIN number and confirm with "OK".
 Then enter the new, four-digit PIN and confirm with "OK".
 Enter the new PIN again. Confirm again with "OK".
Displays on the base station
The display of the base station shows important information about the status
of your answering machine.
