Réf. man TIN200/TIN400
OPERATION
Is done by turning the main switch which lights up to signal the device has power
STOP AND EMERGENCY STOP MODES
The normal stop function of the device is achieved by setting the main switch to "0" (zero).
The emergency stop function is achieved by disconnecting the power supply from the plug
socket.
After an emergency stop or a stop due to an anomaly or a power cut, always set the
main switch to "0" (zero).
EXAMPLES
Before lighting the furnaces, make sure that there is 1 litre of colouring
solution in the containers; if not, top up the level with water; a quantity of
liquid lower than 1 litre would distort the temperatures indicated in the
instructions; place the containers on the furnaces and cover them
Take care to ensure that the power cable is away from the working area which can
reach dangerous temperatures.
INSTRUCTIONS
• Start the device by turning the main switch
• Position the regulator(1)on the red area (fast heating; the
lights on the two selected furnaces will illuminate)
• Position the timer(2)on the YELLOW sector to obtain a bath temperature of approximately
80-85° C or on the ORANGE sector to obtain a bath temperature of between 85 and 93° C.
N.B. the timer will sound a hooter
• The sound signaled by the timer indicates that the set time has passed; IMMEDIATELY
position the regulator(s) on the area with the desired temperature; YELLOW section–
temperature between 80 and 85° C, the ORANGE section– temperature between 85 and
93° C
Not respecting this procedure can damage the machine
• Remove the lids
• Begin lens colouring in the baths
At this point the heat regulator will maintain the temperature by automatically connecting
and disconnecting the power with the resistor
Do not remove the covers until colouring process has finished, preventing the bath
temperature from changing
These instructions are valid only when the baths are at 18-20° C. Otherwise, increase or
decrease the fast heating time on the red section depending on the case: in this instance
use a thermometer to check the temperature of the baths.
Temperatures indicated should be considered with a tolerance of +/- 10%.
