WARNING: Carry out the installation in a "workmanlike" manner, strictly following the installation instructions and
using suitable tools. Always consult your local building department for code requirements that must be respected
depending on its destination of use (private, secondary, public...).
Before starting assembly, unpack all stair components. Place them on a large enough surface and check the
number of components, using the attached packing list.
Preliminary assembly
1. Assemble the parts 001010 for version 040 or the parts 001013 for version 030 on the treads 103009,
103010 and 103011 (Fig. 1) (Fig. 2).
2. Carefully measure the height from floor to floor to determine the number of plastic spacers 131030 or
131031. To determine the number of plastic spacers 131030 or 131031 required, use TAB. 2 for staircases
with spacers D78 (metal) or TAB. 3 for staircases with spacers D79 (wood) (H = height, A = rises). Example:
for a measured height of 298 cm from floor to floor and a staircase with 13 treads and spacers D78, the
following is required:
see TAB. 2 : a) Read the number of plastic spacers required in column H in correspondence to the height of
298 cm, i.e. 40 in column A/13.
b) One at a time distribute the plastic spacers in sequence above and below all the spacers D78 until they
have all been used up (keep the alignment with the injection point on the visible edge to improve aesthetics).
Up to a maximum of 3 plastic spacers can be fitted on the 1st spacer D78. Up to a maximum of 5 plastic
spacers can be fitted on the remaining spacers D78.
The final result is 3 plastic spacers on the 1st spacer D78 (2 above and 1 below), 4 plastic spacers on the
2nd spacer D78 (2 above and 2 below), 3 plastic spacers on the eleven remaining spacers (2 above and 1
below).
3. Assemble the parts 033098 and 033078 with the parts 011051 (Fig. 1) (for railing 040).
4. Assemble the parts C63 to the baluster 122011 using the parts 011064 and 005036 (Fig. 2) (for railing 030).
Cutting top landing
5. To define and trace the cutting lines for top landings:
1) carefully measure hole in ceiling.
2) calculate centre of hole in ceiling.
3) trace cutting lines using a tread to give the right direction, and a piece of the cardboard of the packing to
obtain the squareness of sides on the lower part (underside) of the landing, at a distance from the centre
equivalent to half the hole measured earlier (Fig. 4).
6. Cut the landing with an electric jigsaw, taking great care to avoid damaging the paintwork finish; use
sandpaper to remove any roughness on edges and protect with the supplied wood paint.
Assembly
7. Determine the position of the post on the floor, according to the dimensions of the landing cut earlier, and lay
the base 023012 (Fig. 3).
8. Drill holes with a 14 mm bit and fix the base 023012+012009+022001 to floor with components 008001
(Fig. 1) (Fig. 2).
9. Screw tube 042013 onto base 023012+012009+022001(Fig. 1) (Fig. 2) (Fig. 3).
10. Fit base cover 132017 or 132018 onto tube 042013 (Fig. 6).
11. Insert in the following order: the D78 or D79 spacers, the 131030 or 131031 spacing discs, the first tread
(with the wooden staves parallel to the specified ascending side (Fig. 5/A), the D78 or D79 spacer, the
131030 or 131031 spacing discs and once again the tread (with the wooden staves parallel to the specified
ascending side), and so on. Place the treads in the position given by the configuration (Fig. 6)
12. When the top of the tube 042013 is reached, screw on component 022003, screw on next tube 042013 and
continue with assembly of staircase (Fig. 1) (Fig. 7).
13. Once the end of 042013 tube is reached, screw the 022001 component to the 046036 component keeping
the threaded hole upwards (screw on the 046036 element, keeping in mind that it must be at the same
height as the landing). Continue to insert the treads using the compensation component 023001 in the D78
or D79 spacer and the 131030 or 131031 spacing discs (Fig. 7).
14. Cut the 023001 component at about 3 mm from the fixed rabbet of the shortest part, inserting it into the
D78 or D79 spacer, and insert in order the D78 or D79 spacer and the 088004 - 088008 landing. Align the
landing with the small hole (which allows the passage of the baluster) on the leading side of the treads (Fig. 5)
15. Insert the 023035 or 023037, 022065, 009010 components and tighten component 005008 sufficiently,
