Preparations
1) Turn the scales over and place them on a soft surface so as not to scratch
2) Open the battery compartment 6.
3) Remove the battery insulation strips by pulling them out.
4) Reinsert the battery, if necessary, and close the battery compartment 6.
5) Turn the scales over and place them on a flat, non-slip surface.
6) Press and hold the TARE button 3 until the display 2 goes blank.
