Installing the Faucet (See Figure 4):
1. Remove Stem Nut on the Faucet.
2. Slide the Chrome Plate and Black Rubber Washer onto the Faucet
Stem.
3. The Chrome Plate, Rubber Washer and Faucet Body are installed
above the sink or countertop.
4. Place the Faucet through the drilled faucet hole, then add
Securing Plate, Star Lock Washer and Stem Nut.
5. Tighten Stem Nut firmly while aligning the Faucet in the desired
location.
6. Gently slide Faucet Compression Nut down over the 1/4" Tubing,
followed with the Ferrule. Then push the Insert into the end of the
Tubing.
7. Firmly push the Tubing into the stem of Faucet until it stops.
Hand-screw the Compression Nut onto the threads of the stem.
Tighten with a wrench.
CAUTION: Do not overtighten the compression nut.
Installing the Filters (See Figure 5):
1. Tear off the seal package of the filter cartridges.
2. Insert Sediment Filter (C) over the standpipe in the bottom of Filter
Sump (B). Ensure that the two O-rigs on the sump are properly set in
the grooves.
3. Screw the sump to the inlet side of Head Assembly (A) with yellow dot
and hand-tighten in a clockwise direction. Use Wrench (T) to tighten,
making sure the seal marks on the head and sump are aligned. Note:
Don't over tighten.
4. Repeat above steps to install Carbon Block Filter (D) into the second
sump to the outlet side of the head assembly with green dot.
CAUTION: When looking at the system from the front, the
Sediment Cartridge must be on the left (yellow dot on housing
& head) and the Carbon Block Cartridge must be on the right
(green dot on housing & head).
