4.2 Care of the pressure hose and bolus tube
Depending on the environmental conditions, condensation may
form in the pressure hose and the bolus tube during usage. To
ensure that treatment is carried out properly, condensation must
be removed after each use.
To do this proceed as follows:
• Detach the pressure hose and the bolus tube from the
nebuliser.
• Leave the pressure hose (8) connected to the compressor.
• Leave the compressor running until any condensation in the
tubing has been removed by the air-flow.
• Detach the pressure hose from the compressor.
• Connect the bolus tube (7) with the right end to the
compressed air connection of the compressor and proceed as
described above until any condensation has been removed
from this tube too.
Replace the PARI SINUS tube system, [See also: 8 SPARE
PARTS], with every change of patient, or if the tube looks dirty.
4.3 Filter change
In normal operating conditions, the compressor filter must be re-

placed after every 200 operating hours, but at least once a year.
Also please check the filter at regular intervals (after every 10 in-
halations). If it is soiled (grey or brown colour) or blocked, re-
place it. The filter must also be replaced with a new one if it has
become damp.
The filter cannot be cleaned and then reused!

NOTICE
Only use air filters that are intended by PARI for use with your
compressor, otherwise your compressor might be damaged or
it may not be possible to ensure adequate treatment.
