1. introduction

This manual is only a short summary. For a detailed manual look at the Guide on the
CD-ROM.
If you only want to use the location query by SMS, you can use the „quick start guide"
(see 3.).
Note: Please read this manual at least once.

2. hardware description

1. Status LEDs (GPS, Power, GSM)

2.1 insert SIM-card

You need a SIM card for your tracker, if the tracker shall transmit the positions in real
time. You can use any SIM card. Before using, the PIN request of your SIM card must be
disabled. you can disable the PIN request with your mobile phone. For more details, look
at the manual of your mobile phone.
A. unscrew the cover on the bottom
B. slide the SIM-card holder in the „open" direction and fold it up
C. Insert SIM card and pay attention to the edge (see picture)
D. fold down the SIM-card holder and slide it in the „lock" direction

2.2 battery

Charge the battery vial USB port (see 2.). You can do it by using the AC charger or cigaret-
te lighter charging cable. If the battery is fully charged, the Power LED is glowing in solid
red. Charging takes about 4-6 hours.
Don't short or damage the battery mechanically! Explosion hazard!
