1. To use the Power Spin-Thru manually, follow the in-
structions for the Spin-Thru.
2. Attach Power Spin-Thru to electric drill, preferably
one with a variable speed trigger. Be sure drill is
properly grounded or is double insulated.
3. Loosen thumbscrew. Insert boring head through
strainer and push into pipe until stoppage is reached
(if head can't pass through strainer, use bent tip at
other end of snake).
For pop-up drain: Remove drain plug by turning &
lifting. If plug won't lift, loosen screw and nut under
sink and withdraw lift rod. Then, insert snake.
4. Tighten thumbscrew. Slowly pull drill trigger and use
slight forward pressure until exposed snake enters
pipe.
5. Loosen thumbscrew and pull back container about
six inches.
6. Repeat until clog has been cleared. Don't force the
snake! Let the boring head do the work. Forcing the
snake could cause damage to the tool or personal
injury.
DO NOT USE TOO MUCH FORCE –
LET THE CUTTER DO THE WORK.

Maintenance—All Models
To keep your tool operating smoothly, it is essential that
all bearings and bushings be lubricated. Oiling moving
parts is particularly important where tool comes in contact
with sand, grit and other abrasive material.
CABLE MAINTENENCE
To get maximum service from
your cables, be sure that they
are clean and well oiled. This
not only
lubrication but greatly extends
the life of the cables as well.
Some users periodically pour
oil directly into the drum.
Then, as the drum turns, the
cables get complete lubrica-
tion. Our SNAKE OIL is ide-
ally suited for this purpose,
since it not only lubricates the
cables, it deodorizes them as well.
4
DO NOT USE THE CONTINUOUS RUN
BUTTON. DRILL SPEED MUST NOT
EXCEED 350 RPM.
DO NOT USE REVERSE TO PULL THE
CABLE OUT OF THE DRAIN. ALWAYS
RUN TOOL IN FORWARD.
USE REVERSE ONLY TO RELEASE
CABLE IF CAUGHT IN LINE.
DISCONNECT TOOL FROM POWER
SOURCE BEFORE PERFORMING
MAINTENANCE ON TOOL!
