3.3 Installation recommendations
The building in which the product is used might reduce the radio
range. This range is: X = 40 m in open space
Caution! The use of a radio appliance (e.g. Hi-Fi radio headphones)
operating on the same frequency may cause interference and be
detrimental to the product's performance.
Note: The Lighting Mod/Var Ramp RTS-LB1 must be installed in
a location sheltered from bad weather, and out of the reach of
children.

Never use the Lighting Mod/Var Ramp RTS-LB1 near metal surfaces. Metal surfaces may reduce
the radio range.

Do not install the equipment close to any flammable objects, such as curtains, etc.

Check the radio range before fitting the Lighting Mod/Var Ramp RTS-LB1.

The radio range may be limited by radio appliance control standards.

If the device is installed outdoors, ensure the lighting is not directed upwards.
3.4 Safety distances
Caution! Ensure all objects are installed or placed more than 100 mm away from the Lighting Mod/
Var Ramp RTS-LB1 lights.
3.5 Fitting the Lighting Mod/Var Ramp RTS-LB1
Caution! Before installing any Lighting Mod/Var Ramp RTS-LB1,
ensure the safety distances listed in the "Safety distances" section are
observed.
The Lighting Mod/Var Ramp RTS-LB1 has a ridge on the back for
attaching the pivoting mountings. These allow the Lighting Mod/Var
Ramp RTS-LB1 to be tilted to a maximum of 90°.
Note: An extra 15° movement is also possible for each of the 5 lamps.
3.5.1 Fitting accessories to the wall/ceiling/awning case
1)
Drill the 6 mm diameter holes at equal distances apart (x) in order to
mount the Lighting Mod/Var Ramp RTS-LB1 (a).
2)
Insert the plugs (f) in the holes, using a hammer if necessary.
3)
Press the support bases (b) against the wall/ceiling/awning case at
the holes, and attach using the screws (g).

When mounting to an awning case, attach the support bases directly
(b) using an M5 nut and bolt system (not supplied).
Caution! The bolt and nut system must not touch the awning fabric. Risk
of tearing.
